More than three decades in the air

In 1991 the family behind Ballonvaarten Ciers laid the first foundations of what is today Ballonteam Westhoek. The second generation now stands alongside them at the helm, with the very same outlook: small-scale and personal rather than big and anonymous. We're a passionate team of balloonists: a West Flemish company with a heart for aviation, and by now a familiar name in ballooning with a broad offering across mainly West Flanders and Hainaut. Our fleet counts eight balloons, each a different and comfortably manageable size. That's a deliberate choice for a warm, personal basket rather than the largest possible groups: no "bus balloons" where you're loaded in alongside twenty strangers. Book with a party of 6 or more, and the whole basket is automatically reserved for your group alone — an exclusive private flight, at no extra cost for that exclusivity.
